Awana is coming!

Every Wednesday from August through April, our Family Center is buzzing with life. Children throughout our community gather on the hill for our Awana night. Awana is a worldwide ministry that is passionate about equipping churches and parents to raise Christ-following kids for life. Jump in and the join the fun of games, songs, and learning God's Word.

W.O.W. (Wee Ones Worship)
Sunday Mornings
Midway through our worship services, your children ages two through four are invited to participate in Wee Ones Worship. W.O.W. is a safe and grace-filled place for your young children to learn and move during the second half of the service. Right before the message time, you will see a cue projected on the screen upfront dismissing the young children. You are welcome to accompany your child to W.O.W. located in west of the sanctuary next to the nursery facilities. Your child will remain in that room until you pick him/her up following the conclusion of the service.

Sunday Mornings
The second Sunday of the month children ages five through thirteen are invited to Kids Pray. Kids Pray is a monthly ministry designed to provide growing children with an opportunity to learn how to pray. This ministry meets in the prayer room located in the office wing on the northeast side of our facility. You are welcome to attend with your child or to escort them to the prayer room before the worship service begins. Kids Pray meets for the entire duration of the service.
VBS
June 7th - 11th, 2010
Vacation Bible School is a one-week ministry event we host at the beginning of each summer. It is a week of high energy games, creative crafts, and grace-filled Bible lessons. This year's VBS will run the second week of June. You can download the registration or register by contacting the church office.
This year's VBS week will feature Gospel Light's SonQuest Rainforest.

Here at First B we have the privilege of being connected to Pine Lake Christian Camp in Eldora, Iowa. Our families are encouraged to participate in summer camps as well as winter retreats. Retreat opportunities will be advertised as the event dates approach.
