At 5 pm we will go to State Park Beach for a BBQ/potluck & sand castle building contest.
Everyone bring your own drink & something to share for the meal (chips, a salad, bars, cookies, fruit, veggies, etc.) the leaders will provide the hotdogs & buns
If the conditions are right, bring your swimsuit & towel if you’d like to go swimming in the lake - kids last year suggested bringing flip flops or water shoes so the zebra mussels don’t cut up your feet.

We want to develop S.O.L.I.D. believers who know how to survive and flourish as Christians ready for high school and beyond.
We reach out to the kids- as adults, as mentors, as friends who hold them accountable. We point them to Jesus and encourage them to seek a deeper relationship with Christ, whether that is receiving Jesus as Lord or growing in an ongoing relationship with Him.
We teach middle schoolers how to dig into the Word and what tools are available to help them grow. We explore issues like where to find Christian Music, how to guard their hearts, and why to be abstinent (pure).
We have discussed some whys and hows of sharing our faith and we've challenged our students to be young men and women of prayer. We continually nurture our students to care about the people around them--not only loving their friends but showing God's love to even their "enemies." We have also discussed Martyrdom and what it means to take a stand for Christ.
These are just a few of the many other topis we tackle at VISION. Our hope is that we are growing strong believers who can stand independently in Jesus.
