CHRISTMAS MORNING SERVICE: 10AM
CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE: 5:00PM
It might be the culture of sharing gifts. The music certainly adds to the mood. The food, decorations, and parties all play a part. Lets face it, Christmas is a time for wonder! It’s that time of year when wide- eyed wonder falls on children and adults alike. But if we can look underneath the tinsel and beyond the eggnog, we will nd an eternal truth that will ignite a fresh wonder in our hearts.
Consider the last verse from the timeless Christmas hymn Joy To The World: “He rules the world truth and grace, and makes the nations prove, the glories of his righteousness, and wonders of his love, and wonders of his love, and wonders of his love!” Friends, the wonders of God’s love have long been on display as the glorious gospel unfolds throughout history. We stand back and see God’s love in his created world. We can see his love even in the broken and painful stories we share. And certainly we can see the love of God on display in the manger and on the cross. So what does all this mean for us? Join us this Christmas season with fresh eyes to as we gaze upon the wonders of God’s love that might propel us to love and serve this broken and fallen world.
