RESTORE :: 30-HOUR FAMINE

Clay Co. Youth Group participated in the 30-Hour Famine yesterday and today. Please consider making a donation on behalf of Clay Co. for this worthy cause. There will be a donation table in the foyer today. $35 feeds and cares for a child for a month!

 

SENIOR ADULT SMALL GROUP

Senior Adults will meet this Tuesday, April 28 at 6:30 pm Join us!

 

AWANA AWARD NIGHT

This Wednesday, April 29 is the last night of Awana when we give awards for the work done. There will be no supper before and the program begins at 6 pm. Refreshments will be served after the program and a lost and found table will be out for final browsing.

 

A WORD ON LOST & FOUND

After the final browsing of the lost and found table on April 29, a new policy will be in place. Items will stay in the Lost and Found box for one month. Then all items will be brought to Krysmart. You can look at the Lost and Found anytime in the church office copy room. 

 

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Mark your calendar for May 3. There will be an Open House 50th  Anniversary Party for Bob and Val Formanek at the Ventura Community Center. The fun goes from noon to 4 pm with a short program at 2 pm. Let’s celebrate God’s goodness with the Formaneks!

 

RELATE :: BENEFIT FOR JERRY TWEETEN

There will be a Benefit for brother and friend, Jerry Tweeten, on Sunday, May 3 here at FBC. Sponsored by Bills’ Family Foods, FC Lions and friends; the free-will offering meal begins at 4:30 pm, silent auction at 3:30 and live auction at 6:15. See the flyer at the Info. Desk.

 

BABY SHOWER MAY 16

An Open House Baby Shower is scheduled for Haily (Mrs. Spencer)  Krutsinger on Saturday, May 16 from 9 - 11 am in the Fellowship Hall.

 

PINE LAKE WORK DAY

FBC is sending a team to work on a variety of projects at Pine Lake Camp in Eldora Friday, May 1 at 4 pm and return in the evening on Saturday, May 2. Lodging and meals will be provided. Sign up at the Information Desk.

 

SYMPATHY EXTENDED

We grieve, but with hope in the passing of Beryl Sand, Mark Sand’s mother, on April 15. Her funeral was yesterday at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills. Our thoughts are with Mark and Alisa, Isaac and Caleb at this time of loss.

 

HOSPICE VOLUNTEER TRAINING

The CPC is planning a training for office volunteers, which is the first step of volunteering. The office training will be Tuesday, April 28 and Tuesday May 5 from 11:15 am to 5 pm at the CPC office at 830 15th St SW. If it is, please contact us if you plan to attend so that we can be prepared for the correct number of participants.

Pray for Jerry Tweeten’s Benefit on May 3.
