RELATE :: GOOD WILL TRUCK

A Goodwill truck will be in Crystal Lake at United Methodist Church from Thursday October 16—Thursday, October 23. Donations go to local Goodwill Stores to support the programs and services they provide for people with disabilities. They accept many items plus items that need to be recycled. You may see a flyer in the office.

 

SENIOR ADULT SMALL GROUP

The Senior Adult Small Group will meet this Tuesday, October 21, at 6:30 pm (instead of October 28.)

 

5TH QUARTER FRIDAY

All Vision Kids (6th—8th grade) are invited to help host this Friday’s 5th Quarter at the YMCA. Come after the football game and your parents can pick you up by 11:30 pm. Parents can join in by sending treats, pop or juice along to the party!

 

RELATE :: WOMEN’S MINISTRIES CRAFT NIGHT

Ladies of all ages are invited to join us on Tuesday, October 28 at 6:30 pm here at church as we decorate pumpkins, enjoy pumpkin bars and fellowship together. Please bring a 5”-6” orange (or white) pumpkin and glue gun, if you have one. Welcome Fall!

 

CHOIR FOR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

There will be an open choir for all ages in this year’s Christmas Program. Practice is during second service (11:00am). Contact Esther Nelson if you are interested or have any questions.

 

CARING PREGNANCY CENTER NEWS

The Caring Pregnancy Center invites all to their Annual Dessert Reception on Friday, November 7 at Music Man Square. “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” is this year’s theme for the 7:00pm Dessert Reception and 7:30pm program. BRIDAL SHOWER NOVEMBER 8

There will be a Bridal Shower for Grace Jermeland, bride-to-be of Grant Nichols and daughter of Bud and Naomi Jermeland. Please join us on Saturday, November 8 at 9:30 am in the Fireside Room to honor Grace. A group gift envelope is available at the Information Desk.

 

CONGRATULATIONS

Best Wishes to Brooke (Segerstrom) and Cory Jackson who were married here on Saturday, October 11 in a God-honoring service. Brooke is the daughter of Lowell and Kerri Segerstrom and grand-daughter of Muriel Segerstrom. After a trip to the tropics they will be at home in Chaska, Minnesota.
