Looking into a new church can be tough. I remember when my wife and I lived in Colorado and we were out "church shopping." We wanted to be part of a church but there were so many issues tugging on our minds and hearts. What do they believe? Will my kids be safe? What's the music like? What do I wear? Are they weird?! Will I stand out? It's crazy what kinds of things go through your mind before you ever step foot inside in the door!
I can't answer all your questions here. With a few clicks you can get a feel for who we are and what we're about. But the best way to find out about FBC is to jump in!
Come share a Sunday morning with us. You'll find a room full of jeans, sneakers, slacks, loafers, flip flops, ties, shorts, dresses, t-shirts, flannels, suits, and maybe...just maybe a few Vikings sweatshirts (those are the one's to watch out for!). That's just my way of saying come as you are. Don't hide. Don't pretend. We gather for a greater purpose.
While you're here you'll find out that there are three words that are important to us: RENEW, RELATE, RESTORE. Those are three simple words, but it's what they stand for that drives us. In a nutshell, here's what you'll hear at here at First B:
RENEW: Keep moving toward Jesus.
RELATE: Keep moving toward one another.
RESTORE: Keep moving toward the world.
