GIRL SCOUT SUNDAY
Today is Girl Scout Sunday and we want to recognize two in our family:  Daisy Scouts Sarah Peterson and Felicia Kelly.
 
OUR DAILY BREAD
The daily devotional Our Daily Bread is in a basket in the foyer for you to pick-up. It covers March, April, May.
 
SENIOR ADULT SMALL GROUP
The Sr. Adult Small Group will meet this Tuesday, March 8 at 6:30 pm. Please bring a food item for the Food Bank.
 
THE MISSION OF KIDSPRAY!
To teach, encourage, and equip children as they develop a deepening relationship with Christ through prayer, so that they might become more effective prayer warriors. KidsPray! will be held next Sunday.
 
SYMPATHY TO BRANDT FAMILY
We extend our sympathy to Ken and Cindy Brandt and family on the death of Ken’s mom Doris Brandt last Sunday. The funeral was Wednesday, March 3 at United Church of Christ in  Le Sueur, MN. Let’s be in prayer for this family.
 
A THANK YOU
A big thank you to all who helped with the Benefit Bake Sale last Saturday by donating food, money or helping at the benefit. It was a pleasure serving together!
 
NEXT SUNDAY’S EVENING SERVICE
The DVD “God of Wonders” will be shown Sunday evening, March 14 from 6:30—8:30 pm This is one the best DVDs available on Creation.
 
WOMEN OF FAITH
There is a ticket available for this weekend’s Women of Faith Conference in Des Moines! If you can use it call Deb Nelson.
 
COMMUNITY SUPPER AT IMMANUEL
Immanuel Lutheran Church is offering a Community Supper on Wednesday, March 17 from 4:45—6:30 pm in their Fellowship Hall.  Anyone is welcome to come and enjoy the food and fellowship. No reservation is required. See the poster by the office.
 
AUCTION & PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Do you like to eat pancakes? Do you like to attend auctions? Now you can do both on Saturday, March 20 at the Forest City Civic Auditorium. Forest City Christian School is serving all you can eat pancakes from 8:30—11:00 am. Adults:  $5, Pre-K & Kindergarten $2, under 3 free. Stay for our 3rd Annual Auction starting at 9:30 am. Call 585-3233 for more information.
 
ANNUAL MEETING
The 139th Annual Meeting of First Baptist Church will be held on Sunday, March 21 at 7:00 pm. But come at 6:00 pm for Ice Cream Sundaes that the Deacons will be serving before the meeting!
 
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUPPER
Supper this week before Awana is Oven-Fried Chicken, 5:00 pm
