JANE FISCHER WITH US TODAY
We welcome Missionary Jane Fischer Jane to First today! She teaches at the Christian Academy in Tokyo, Japan and we are glad she is willing her to share her experiences with us today.
 
FAMILY POOL PARTY
The Family Pool Party at the Forest City Aquatic Center is tonight, August 1. Supper is at 6:45 pm; you bring a side and a drink, we provide hot dogs, buns, condiments and utensils. Swim from 8-10 pm.
 
ONE SERVICE SUNDAYS IN AUGUST
We will enjoy worship together in the Family Center at 10:00 am each Sunday in August. The 22nd is another outdoor service.
 
AWANA DIRECTOR’S MEETING
Awana Directors and Secretaries will meet Sun., Aug. 8 at 9:00 am to look at the new year and the new schedule that will be out.
 
NEW MAILBOXES
There are two new mailboxes in the Fellowship Hall! Let’s welcome Lowell and Kerri Segerstrom and Josh and Jennifer Gray and their families to the First Baptist Family!
 
THE MISSION OF KIDSPRAY!
To teach, encourage, and equip children as they develop a deepening relationship with Christ through prayer, so that they might become more effective prayer warriors. KidsPray! will be held next Sunday.
 
THANK YOU
We would like to thank our church family for your prayers and support offered at the time of my dad’s death. The plant from FBC, the phone calls, the hugs and kind words have reminded us that God is in control, and He is good. He works through all of you and we have felt His providence and peace during this difficult time.

TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FALL
The C.E. Committee says there are two openings for fall! They would like Sunday School teachers for Kindergarten and 2nd Grade beginning this September. Team teaching is a good option! After prayer, if you are interested in either position, please call Brian Moeller at 567-3061.
 
LADIES FALL RETREAT
Join women from the around the state at Pine Lake Camp for a weekend with Beth Crosby of KJLY! On September 24-26 we will enjoy times of study, music, activity, and a concert by Beth! Time Share cost is only $25! See the brochure in boxes today! Remember that you send the registration to camp but pay the church office.
