Life can be a challenge and when you say “yes” to Jesus it does not get any easier. In fact, as Christians, we now live in the real tension of the already and the not yet. God has already worked a great salvation that we currently enjoy, but salvation’s full reality is not yet realized. So here we are, strangers in this world waiting for a fulfilled promise. We face hardships. We suffer. We endure. Through it all, we are called to a joy in Jesus that compels us to a life that honors God.
