JULY 29-AUGUST 2 | TETTEGOUCHE STATE PARK
Join us as we take an organized camping trip for all at First Baptist Church and those in our community who we may want to invite. This five-day, four-night camping trip will focus on building Christ-centered community while enjoying a beautiful slice of God’s creation. There will be light programming in the morning and evening, but the majority of each day will be available to adventure, explore, relax and build relationships!
WHEN IS IT?
Monday July 29 – Friday Aug. 2nd, 2019.
WHERE IS IT?
We will be camping at Tettegouche State Park, on Minnesota’s famous North Shore. Located an hour north of Duluth and an hour south of Grand Marais, Tettegouche sits right in the heart of some of the most beautiful country in the upper Midwest. Numerous state parks, historical attractions, tourist destinations, and miles of stunning scenery will be right at our fingertips.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The cost is $50 per person, ages 4 and up (those under 4 years of age are free, but must be included in your total family numbers). Cost includes all breakfasts & suppers, campfire snacks, firewood, and camping fees (for tent camping in the reserved group campsites). Each individual or family is responsible for their own camping equipment (tents, bedding, lawn chairs, etc.) transportation, Minnesota State Park pass, and lunches each day.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
This trip is limited to the first 75 people who sign up! So sign up early to guarantee your spot! Sign up by clicking the “Register” button below!
OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:
The two group sites we have reserved are “rustic” sites. That means no electricity, tents only, and pit toilets. Showers and plumbed toilets are available less than a mile from our group camp. Unless you are able to make an individual reservation in the general campground, RV camping will not be available.
